Trivial Pursuit
The Boston Globe - September 29, 1999

We love workin' it out on the dance floor, same as the next mildly coordinated clubgoer. But after a night of gyrating next to a bevy of suspiciously buxom communications majors, we long to do something a little more, well, cerebral. But nothing so challenging that we're going to feel, you know, inadequate. The antidote? A night of trivia. We don't mean sitting around a dogeared, dusty copy of Trivial Pursuit while in our jammies. We mean something social. Each Wednesday night at 9p.m., DJ and trivia guru Mike O'Neill holds court at the Kinvara pub, interspersing head-scratchers with some very cool tunes. Add a couple of trips to the taps, and you won't even care that every guy in the room is checking out the perky blond systems analyst next to the door.
